About Sayed Matin Hussainy
Founder
Responsible enterprise begins with service.
My work is grounded in a simple belief: business should create value without losing sight of people, dignity, or the wider community.
I came to the United States from Afghanistan with firsthand experience of uncertainty, adaptation, and starting again. That journey shaped how I approach finance and entrepreneurship: with empathy, discipline, and a responsibility to make complex systems understandable. I believe purpose and performance should strengthen each other, financial knowledge should be practical and accessible, and leadership should be measured by integrity, accountability, and service.
I earned an MBA in Finance and Analytics from the University of Massachusetts Boston. My studies strengthened my ability to examine financial statements, build financial models, evaluate risk, work with data, and connect analysis with sound business decisions. I continue developing my tax expertise as an Enrolled Agent candidate, with a focus on responsible tax guidance for individuals, entrepreneurs, and small businesses.
My professional experience centers on helping entrepreneurs move from uncertainty to informed action. Through small-business development programs, I have supported more than 1,400 clients with intake, business planning, financial projections, funding readiness, educational programs, and connections to experienced advisors and resources. Working alongside an experienced advisory team, this work has contributed to more than $11 million in client capital facilitated.
I also founded Kabul Boston Consulting to provide practical financial education, entrepreneurship support, bookkeeping, tax preparation, and advisory services. My approach begins with listening. I work to understand the person behind the numbers, explain the available options clearly, and help clients make decisions they can defend and sustain.
My community work serves immigrants, refugees, and underserved families through guidance offered in English, Dari, and Pashto. I have organized workshops, provided individualized mentorship, supported business planning and financial readiness, and helped people connect with knowledge, networks, and practical next steps. This work reflects my belief that financial confidence grows when education respects a person’s language, culture, experience, and goals.
I am building The MBA Hub as a platform where responsible finance, ethical enterprise, education, advisory work, and community impact can strengthen one another. The vision is to create thoughtful conversations and useful learning experiences for entrepreneurs, professionals, students, nonprofits, B Corps, and mission-driven organizations. Through the forthcoming podcast, courses, and advisory programs, I want to make complex ideas understandable, bring diverse voices into the conversation, and encourage business decisions that create opportunity while protecting dignity and serving the common good.
