For families who can cook but lack the resources, we provide thoughtfully packed food parcels with essential staples. These include rice, canned goods, flour, and other household basics — enough to feed a family and ease their daily burden.
Community Outreach & Donations
From donating fresh produce and toiletries to shelters, to distributing clothes and hygiene kits, our outreach work ensures that the most vulnerable — including the elderly, homeless, and children — feel seen, supported, and cared for.
Empowering Through Support

Our support programs go beyond meeting immediate needs — they’re about creating lasting change. We uplift individuals and families by offering resources, guidance, and hands-on assistance when they need it most. Whenever possible, we create small job opportunities within the community, hiring local residents — especially from our church and surrounding neighborhoods — for roles like cooking, cleaning, and delivering meals. These jobs often serve more well-off members of the community, creating a cycle of dignity and mutual support. We also champion small, local businesses by sourcing from them whenever we can, helping to strengthen the very communities we serve. At Themba Hub, empowerment means more than giving — it means building together.
